S Chand did his MBBS and MD (Forensic Medicine and Toxicology) from Maulana Azad Medical College and associated LNJP and GB Pant hospitals, Delhi. He has worked as Assistant Professor in Rama Medical College, Pilkhuwa, Hapur, U.P. Then he worked as Assistant Professor in Rajshree Medical Research Institute, Bareilly, U.P. and then as Associate Professor and Professor in G S Medical College, Pilkhuwa, Hapur, U.P. He is presently working as Professor and Head in the Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology at Rajshree Medical Research Institute (RMRI), Bareilly, U.P. He is the life member of Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine (IAFM) and Punjab Academy of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology (PAFMT). He understands the needs of the students & readers and is very passionate in teaching the subject. He motivates and inspires the students to make them understand the basic concepts of the subject.
