Chi Chiu Wang
Professor Ronald Wang is a distinguished expert in reproductive medicine, developmental biology, and genetics, with over 300 indexed publications. He holds dual PhDs in Surgical Sciences and Genetics, an M.Med with distinction in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and is currently completing an M.D. candidacy at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
Since joining CUHK, he has held numerous leadership roles including Division Head of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Director of the CUHK-Sichuan University Joint Laboratory for Reproductive Medicine, and Principal Investigator at the Li Ka Shing Institute of Health Sciences. He serves as Deputy Director of the Prenatal Genetics Diagnosis Centre and holds visiting professorships across top institutions in China. Professor Wang’s research focuses on complex reproductive disorders such as polycystic ovary syndrome, endometriosis, gestational diabetes, and fetal medicine. He serves on editorial boards and as a reviewer for leading journals including Lancet, JAMA, and PNAS.
