Ihtesham ur Rehman
Ihtesham ur Rehman has more than 28 years of experience working on dental and biomaterials, having spent more than 23 years at the Interdisciplinary Research Centre in Biomedical Materials at Queen Mary, University of London (QMUL). He is currently working at the Kroto Research Institute, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, The University of Sheffield (TUoS), UK. He developed and managed MSc(s) in 1- Dental Materials and 2- Biomaterials and Regenerative Medicine both the QMUL and TUoS. His research is on dental and biomaterials, and of translational nature; ranging from (i) chemical structural evaluations of cells and proteins by spectroscopic means, to (ii) synthesis and fabrication of bioactive composites for dental and osteological applications. He has authored over 200 scientific articles, one book and several patents.
