Kishor Pant

Dr. Kishor Pant is a biomedical researcher and senior scientist with deep expertise in cellular metabolism, liver pathology, and the biology of aging. His scientific journey has been shaped by investigating how cellular stress, ranging from DNA damage to metabolic overload, triggers senescence and contributes to chronic diseases. With a growing body of work published in high-impact journals and active roles in peer review and editorial boards, Dr. Pant brings a translational and accessible voice to the intricate science of senescence.

Over the course of his work, Dr. Pant has consistently observed cellular senescence across various liver disease and diabetes models, which inspired him to write this book and provide a comprehensive overview of the field. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles in high-impact journals and has served as an editor, guest editor, and reviewer for several journals focusing on primary cilia, metabolism, and cellular growth.

Mark C. Glassy

Dr. Glassy is the Founder of Nascent Biotech, Inc, as well as a member of the Advisory Board of the University of California, Riverside, School of Medicine. He was previously Research Fellow in molecular immunology at the Scripps Research Institute. He joined the faculty of the Department of Medicine and Cancer Center at the University of California, San Diego in 1980 and is currently Professor in the Translational Neuro-Oncology Laboratory at the UCSD Moores Cancer Center. In addition to UCSD, Dr. Glassy has held several upper management positions in commercial biotechnology. He has prepared and directed several FDA approved clinical trials involving human monoclonal antibodies to cancer. Dr. Glassy has over 190 publications, is the inventor of several issued patents in the human antibody field, is the Editor-in-Chief of the journal, “Human Antibodies”, and the Program Chairman of the meeting series, "The International Conference on Human Antibodies and Hybridomas".
