Biomolecular Kinetics bridges the gap between fundamental biochemistry and practical bioprocess applications. The book offers a clear and logical exploration of biomolecules, their relationships to cellular functions, and the formulation of fermentation media. With detailed derivations and visual aids, readers will swiftly grasp the essentials of cell chemistry, reaction rates, and the complexities of bioprocess engineering. The content is well-organized, beginning with an introduction to biological basics and progressing through key topics such as carbohydrates, nucleic acids, proteins, lipids, and metabolites. Readers will gain insights into cell feed formulation, chemical reaction principles, enzyme kinetics, and the design of experiments. Each chapter builds on the last, providing a thorough understanding of the mechanistic pathways of bioreactions and the quantitative analysis of bioprocess parameters.
Biomolecular Kinetics is an invaluable resource for students, researchers, and professionals in biochemistry, biotechnology, and bioprocess engineering.
