Adewale George Adeniyi

Adewale George Adeniyi is a prominent scholar and expert in biochar research, focusing on process and product development, solid waste management, and environmental pollution control. He earned his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) and is currently a Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. With over 15 years of experience in academia and research, he is the principal investigator of the Sustainable Materials and Process Development (SMAPDEV) Research Network. Currently, he serves as the Deputy Director (Operations) at the University of Ilorin Centre for Open Distance Learning and is a Visiting Senior Research Fellow at King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok, Thailand.

Kingsley O. Iwuozor

Kingsley O. Iwuozor obtained his bachelor’s degree in Pure and Industrial Chemistry from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria. He later earned a postgraduate diploma in Quality Control and Environmental Science from the National Sugar Institute, Kanpur, India, and a master’s degree in industrial chemistry from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He is a faculty member at the Nigeria Sugar Institute, Ilorin, where he currently serves as Head of Factory Operations. His diverse research interests span material development, water and wastewater treatment, and environmental remediation. Additionally, his studies extend to research related to the sugar and allied industries.

Ebuka Chizitere Emenike

Ebuka Chizitere Emenike obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Pure and Industrial Chemistry from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria, and a master’s degree in industrial chemistry from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He is an investigator with the Sustainable Materials and Process Development (SMAPDEV) Research Network, who specializes in environmental nanotechnology, and focusing on sustainable applications in water systems. He is a registered member of the Materials Science and Technology Society of Nigeria (MSN).
