Dr Borgohain is a seasoned chemical and environmental researcher specializing in CO2 capture and membrane technology. Her expertise encompasses successful project execution, grant renewal, proposal development, and publication. Through her work, she is effectively implementing CO2 separation techniques utilizing membrane technology with diverse additive compositions. Her contributions have yielded significant outcomes, including the publication of nine peer-reviewed journal articles, a book chapter, and the delivery of ten conference presentations. In recognition of her achievements, she was honored with the Best in Chemical Engineering Award in 2020 from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. Additionally, she received the Dr. AV Rama Rao Foundation's Best PhD Thesis and Research Award in Chemical Engineering. Most recently, she was granted the prestigious DBTRA fellowship from the Department of Biotechnology under the Ministry of Science & Technology, India in 2024. Bishnupada Mandal
Dr. Mandal is a distinguished academic with 20 years of experience in teaching and research at IIT Guwahati. He holds a Ph.D. and has been recognized as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) and the Institute of Engineers (FIE). He was awarded the prestigious BOYSCAST fellow award by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and received the 'Young Scientist Project' under the SERC Fast Track scheme.
