Dr. Surbhi Agarwal is a passionate and dedicated professional in the field of public health and nutrition and committed to addressing global health challenges and promoting health equity. She is currently working as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at The University of Edinburgh working on two projects of Data for Children Collaborative with UNICEF, focusing on gender-related barriers to immunization and improving prediction models for malnutrition prevalence. Dr. Surbhi Agarwal has also contributed significantly to various projects aimed at improving nutritional status among women of reproductive age in India during her collaboration with the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER). In addition to her research roles, she has been actively involved in teaching human nutrition and dietetics to food technology students.
Dr. Agarwal’s academic achievements involves Ph.D. in Food Science and Human Nutrition from National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM), a Master of Public Health from Imperial College London, specializing in understanding global health challenges and employing innovation to achieve sustainable health improvements and another Master of Science in Food and Nutrition from University of Delhi. She is also a life member of the Nutrition Society of India.

Anet Režek Jambrak
Prof. Anet Režek Jambrak is a full-time professor (tenured) at the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology, University of Zagreb, Croatia. She received her PhD in 2008, the title of her doctoral thesis: Ultrasound effect on the physical and functional properties of whey proteins. She was trained abroad at Coventry University in the UK and at the University of Avignon in France. She holds the title of full professor (since 2018) and scientific advisor (permanent title) since 2017 - food engineering (biotechnical sciences).Since 2019, she has been the head of the Laboratory for Sustainable Development. Her areas of research are nonthermal processing, advanced thermal processing, sustainability, food processing, industry 4.0, digitalization, food chemistry, food physics, etc. Since 2007, Anet Režek Jambrak has published over 130 significant scientific papers with more than 6550 citations. She is the author of numerous book chapters by recognized scientific publishers. She has been invited to more than 40 conferences as an invited lecturer or keynote speaker. She is the winner of many awards and recognitions: in 2021 she received the Emerging Sustainability Leader Award from MDPI Sustainability Foundation; In 2019, it was included in the Highly list Cited Researcher, among 0.1% of world scientists, Web of Science. In 2009 and 2019, she received the state award for science from the Parliament of the Republic of Croatia, Ministry of Science and Education, Government of the Republic of Croatia; In 2016, she was awarded the Young Scientist Award - International Union of Food Science and Technology (IUFOST).
