About the author

Qiao-Hong Chen

Dr. Qiao-Hong Chen is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at California State University, Fresno. She received her Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from Sichuan University, China, and completed postdoctoral and senior research training at the University of Alberta, Canada, and Virginia Tech, USA. Her research and teaching span medicinal chemistry, organic synthesis, natural products, anticancer agents, and drug discovery, with particular expertise in prostate cancer therapeutics and androgen receptor-related strategies. Dr. Chen has published 168 peer-reviewed articles and authored the book titled Anti-Prostate Cancer Agents, published by Elsevier in 2025. She has also author or co-authored five additional books and book chapters in medicinal chemistry, natural products, and anticancer drug discovery. Dr. Chen has served as a Visiting Research Scholar at Princeton University and as a guest editor for three Special Issues on “Anticancer Agents: Design, Synthesis and Evaluation” of Molecules.
