Description
Description
Aesthetic and Regenerative Medicine of Skin: Principles, Biomaterials, and Technologies provides an interdisciplinary overview of modern aesthetic and regenerative medicine, integrating biomaterials, tissue engineering and advanced technologies for skin rejuvenation and regeneration.
Organized into four sections, this book guides readers from fundamental principles and materials selection through biomaterial synthesis and characterization, methods and technologies to clinical and translational applications. Early chapters introduce the core principles of tissue regeneration, regenerative medicine, and biomaterial synthesis and characterization, providing the scientific foundation for understanding established and emerging approaches in aesthetic and regenerative medicine.
This book explores a range of biomaterials and technologies used in aesthetic and regenerative medicine, including PRP, exosomes, stem cells, dermal fillers, skin boosters, laser therapy, and advanced skin treatments. Clinical case studies demonstrate the translation of regenerative and aesthetic approaches into real-world practice, highlighting their applications, potential benefits, and practical challenges.
Aesthetic and Regenerative Medicine of Skin: Principles, Biomaterials, and Technologies is a comprehensive reference for researchers, postgraduate students, academics, and practitioners in aesthetic and regenerative medicine, biomaterials, biomedical engineering, and tissue engineering.
This book also provides practical insights into the clinical application of regenerative technologies and biomaterials for aesthetic skin rejuvenation and regeneration.
