Palash Kumar Bhowmik
Dr. Palash Kumar Bhowmik is a staff scientist at Idaho National Laboratory (INL) specializing in reactor system thermal-hydraulics design and analysis. With a background in nuclear engineering, he has industry experience in thermal power plants, nuclear research reactors, and oil refineries. Dr. Bhowmik is currently involved in developing test facilities for advanced small modular reactor systems under the DOE's ARDP. He has made significant contributions to over 10 research projects, authored numerous publications, and given invited talks on reactor systems. Dr. Bhowmik serves editorial roles in various journals and mentors students. He is affiliated with IEEE, ASME, and ASNE.
