Description

Advanced Ceramic 3D Printing: Materials, Processes, Emerging Perspectives and Applications offers a comprehensive, exploration of the latest advances in this field. The book addresses the entire innovation chain. It systematically explores fundamental theories, key technologies, advanced materials, interdisciplinary applications, and future trends in ceramic additive manufacturing. Aimed at breaking through traditional boundaries, the book integrates material science, mechanics, artificial intelligence, and space science, with coverage ranging from nanoscale rheology to large-scale component manufacturing. The content is structured into four key parts—Basic Theory and Technological Development, Core Printing Technology Analysis, Advanced Materials and Innovative Applications, and Frontier Intersections and Future Challenges. Notably, it introduces original theories in areas such as sub-micron precision control, smart ceramics for 4D printing, AI-driven process optimization, and lunar manufacturing. More than 20 industrial case studies and disruptive pathways for aerospace, biomedical, and energy applications are also included. By mapping process parameters to microstructure and properties, and by incorporating digital- and data-driven methodologies, this book addresses urgent knowledge gaps, offering a timely and singular reference that extends far beyond the focus of existing literature.
