Review quotes

"Signaling peptides are the latest buzz ingredient in skin care products…. offers information that can help answer questions about their mechanisms of action and the differences between various peptides…. The purpose of this book is to inform dermatologists how to evaluate peptide formulations by presenting scientific data on how these molecules stimulate cell renewal, collagen production, wound healing, and decrease inflammation…. The primary audience is cosmetic dermatologists, but the book will also benefit those who deal with wound healing. The book comprises 13 chapters including basic knowledge of skin and peptides, transdermal drug delivery systems, and quality research of peptides…. describes how peptides are designed, manufactured, and tested for impurities and how to knowledgeably evaluate formulations of active peptides…. The book would benefit from further exploring the efficacy of formulations and which combination of peptides may provide superior clinical results…. I anticipate an explosion of research in this direction."©Doody's Review Service, 2025, Patricia Wong, MD (Private Practice)
