Mr. Ding is a PhD candidate at City University of Hong Kong. His research direction is efficient utilization of low-grade energy, focusing on absorption thermal energy storage toward carbon neutrality. He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed papers and obtained/filed 8 CN/US patents. He has participated in more than 20 HVAC engineering projects. He received the Distinguished PhD Candidate Award of Energy and Built Environment, the Outstanding Academic Performance Award for Research Degree Students at City University of Hong Kong (3 times), and Environmental Paper Award at the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE). He won the Gold Medal at the Asian International Innovative Invention Exhibition. He is an editorial board member of several SCI journals.

Ms. Sui is a PhD candidate at City University of Hong Kong (August 2024). Her research is focused on efficient utilization of low-grade energy, focusing on absorption thermal energy storage toward carbon neutrality. She has published 20 peer-reviewed papers, and obtained/filed 4 CN/US patents, and participated in more than 20 HVAC engineering projects.
