Aqeel Shakir Mahmood
Dr. Aqeel Shakir Mahmood, MBChB, FICMS, CABS, FRCS, MRCS, is a distinguished Professor in the Department of Surgery at the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad. Renowned for his groundbreaking research, Dr. Mahmood has significantly influenced surgical practice and patient outcomes. His scholarly contributions are widely recognized. His research journey began in 1999 at Al-Rasheed Military Teaching Hospital, focusing on innovative surgical procedures for liver hydatid cysts. His work on Omentoplasty has notably improved patient outcomes. As Director of the National Center for Early Detection of Cancer, he established Iraq's first Department of Cancer Research. Dr. Mahmood leads international research initiatives on breast cancer in Iraq, Lebanon, and Egypt. His legacy extends beyond research, as he mentors future medical professionals, shaping the future of surgical practice.

s a medical graduate from the university of Baghdad, College of Medicine in Iraq with an MBChB degree. He is a clinical researcher in the field of medicine and surgery and he is very interested in the surgical field of medicine. He published more than 135 papers in peer reviewed international journals. He has been reviewing many research papers for many specialized journals in this field and he was a trainee in Baghdad medical city and now he is a resident doctor at Al-Nasiriyah teaching hospital and named as the head of research department at the university of Warith Al-Anbiyaa, College of Medicine in Karbala, Iraq. He participated and presented his papers in more than 35 conferences and congresses in Iraq and outside Iraq. Also, he participated in delivering more than five workshops in Oman, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Iraq. He edited more than seven books and he has done more than 120 research papers and studies

Sadeer Alzubaidi
Dr. Sadeer Alzubaidi received his medical degree from the University of Baghdad School of Medicine in 1998. Dr. Alzubaidi did a preliminary surgery at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, and a diagnostic radiology residency at Wayne State University. Subsequently, he did an Interventional radiology fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, specializing in vascular and interventional radiology. Currently, a Consultant in the Department of Radiology at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, and an Associate Professor of Radiology at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, Scottsdale, Arizona
