The international journal Auris Nasus Larynx provides the opportunity for rapid, carefully reviewed publications concerning the fundamental and clinical aspects of otorhinolaryngology and related fields. This includes otology, neurotology, bronchoesophagology, laryngology, rhinology, allergology, head and neck medicine and oncologic surgery, maxillofacial and plastic surgery, audiology, speech science.Original papers, short communications and original case reports can be submitted. Reviews on recent developments are invited regularly and Letters to the Editor commenting on papers or any aspect of Auris Nasus Larynx are welcomed.Founded in 1974 and previously published by the Society for Promotion of International Otorhinolaryngology, the journal is now the official English-language journal of the Japanese Society of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. The aim of its new international Editorial Board is to make Auris Nasus Larynx an international forum for high quality research and clinical sciences.

BBA Clinical is an open access biomedical journal dedicated to human research. It brings together clinical and biochemical human studies, providing a new venue for researchers using observational studies and clinical trials to understand the molecular and biochemical processes involved in human disease.All articles in BBA Clinical should describe, in part or entirely, studies using human patient samples or human cohorts. Manuscripts should emphasize the implications that biochemical mechanisms have for the observed clinical findings, and focus on describing how the data contribute to understanding and treatment of the clinical condition. Highly descriptive and method-development submissions may be declined without review.Clinical areas of particular interest include aging, cancer, cardiovascular-, metabolic-, neurological-, and immunological-based diseases; the interactions that may occur among these diseases and conditions; and studies that examine early or pre-symptomatic states. Cross-sectional and prospective studies from well-established cohorts, and studies involving imaging methodologies, are particularly encouraged.Invited reviews and editorials, focused on cutting-edge aspects of clinical research, will appear on a regular basis to complement regular research articles. Unsolicited review articles will be considered only in exceptional cases, and should be preceded by a letter of enquiry from the author, outlining the proposed review and compelling reasons why the subject is timely and important.BBA Clinical is the clinical complement to BBA Molecular Basis of Disease, which focuses on the molecular and biochemical basis of such conditions in pre-clinical studies, such as cell culture and animal models.
