Reports on congresses and workshops, taking the form of a digested or very comprehensive commentary, pointing out some of the particular highlights in relation to the contributors and giving some detail of the area covered, important contributions and a list of participants, are also welcome.The journal is published monthly and aims at rapid publication of high quality papers of scientific merit as well as general interest to a wide readership. Official Journal of the Society of Radiopharmaceutical SciencesNuclear Medicine and Biology publishes original research addressing all aspects of radiopharmaceutical science for imaging as well as therapeutic applications. More specifically the synthesis (automated and manual), in vitro and ex vivo studies, in vivo biodistribution by dissection or imaging, radiopharmacology, radiopharmacy of new radiopharmaceuticals. Translational studies of novel targeted radiopharmaceuticals, e.g. first in human use, are warmly welcomed. In addition, in vivo imaging studies using radioactive tracers for physiological and pathophysiological research or drug discovery support are welcome. In all cases, the importance of the target to an unmet clinical need should be the first consideration.These multidisciplinary studies should validate the mechanism of localization whether the tracer is based on binding to a receptor, enzyme, antigen, or another well-defined target. The studies should be aimed at evaluating how the chemical and radiopharmaceutical properties affect pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, or therapeutic efficacy. Ideally, the study would address the sensitivity of the tracer to changes in disease or treatment, although studies validating mechanism alone are acceptable as well. In the case of therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals, the specificity of labeled compound localization and therapeutic effect should be addressed.If the synthesis of a new radiopharmaceutical is submitted without in vitro or in vivo data, then the uniqueness of the chemistry must be emphasized and should provide a substantial improvement over existing methodologies.Articles related to radiopharmacy, addressing the issues of preparation, automation, quality control, dispensing, and regulations applicable to qualification and administration of radiopharmaceuticals to humans, are also welcome if the article provides a significant impact on the field.

An International Publication for Nutrition to Advance Food and Life Science ResearchThe mission of Nutrition Research is to serve as the premier journal for the global communication of nutrition sciences research. Our primary goal is to publish research across the broad field of nutrition sciences that advances human health and promotes clinical applications through a comprehensive understanding of dietary patterns, foods, nutrients, and bioactive food components. This understanding includes exploring diet-related interactions with environmental exposures, human behavior, genetics, and underlying health status.Nutrition Research aims to contribute to the advancement of fundamental knowledge and facilitate research translation in support of public health. We achieve this by publishing nutrition sciences research that establishes mechanisms and demonstrates the efficacy or detriment of dietary exposures and interventions. We welcome studies conducted in humans, populations, and cellular and animal models, particularly those related to biomolecular nutrition, precision nutrition, (multi)omic workflows, nutrition interventions, randomized controlled trials, and novel methodological approaches and techniques that advance the nutrition sciences field. Furthermore, Nutrition Research is committed to promoting diversity, equity, inclusivity, and justice in the field through the dedicated efforts of its globally diverse editorial board. We also actively encourage the submission of research from all geographic regions and topics addressing health inequities and improvements in the health of vulnerable and/or underrepresented populations.Nutrition Research publishes peer-reviewed research and articles related to all aspects of nutrition sciences that are relevant to the health of humans and populations.
