The Journal is the official publication of the Asociación Colombiana de PsiquiatrÃa (Colombian Psychiatric Association), with the aim of publishing articles of interest in psychiatry, mental health, and associated professions. It has been published since its foundation in 1964 every three months without fail. The aim of the Journal is to disseminate different knowledge models that currently form the theoretical and practical body of our specialty. It is also aimed at psychiatrists, non-medical psychiatrists, psychologists, philosophers, and other health professionals or those interested in this area. It publishes original works, review or update articles, case reports from all areas of psychiatry and mental health, epistemology articles, philosophy of the mind and bioethics, and articles on research methodology, and critical reading.
The European Journal of Psychiatry is one of the two official scientific publications of the Spanish Society of Psychiatry and Mental Health. It is a peer-reviewed journal that aims to provide state-of-theart research and policy updates and to stimulate discussion and debate amongst clinicians, research scientists and patient advocates in psychiatry and mental health. TEJP is committed to publishing the latest advances in the full range of issues related to mental health including new developments in diagnosis and treatment, and advances in the biological and social underpinnings of mental, behavioral, and cognitive function in clinical and general populations. The journal especially welcomes submission of manuscripts based on clinical research.TEJP was founded in 1986, directed by Professor A. Seva until 2004 and afterward by Professor Antonio Lobo. In 2023, a new Editorial Board, led by Prof. Guillermo Lahera, has been appointed. The journal is indexed in different bibliographic databases, including the Social Sciences Citation Index / JCR. TEPJ is managed and published by Elsevier on behalf of the owners, the Spanish Society of Psychiatry and Mental Health.
