Tropical Agricultural Sciences

Tropical Agricultural Sciences (TAS) is a comprehensive international journal with a high starting point in the field of tropical agriculture which is led by the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agriculture Sciences (CATAS). The editor-in-chief is Huang Sanwen, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and president of the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agriculture Sciences.

The journal “Tropical Agricultural Sciences” focuses on basic research and applied basic research of tropical agriculture such as germplasm resources and genetic breeding, crop cultivation and physiology and biochemistry, Frontier basic and emerging interdisciplinary research, Plant protection and bio-safety, agricultural product processing and nutrition and health, agroecology and environmental protection, animal science and veterinary medicine, agricultural economy and informatization etc. The journal is committed to publishing high-level scientific research results and cutting-edge advances in the field of tropical agriculture, especially on the cross-over study of the impact of climate change on tropical agriculture, environmental issues in the development of tropical agriculture, the role of tropical agriculture in rural development, food security and transformation, economic growth and poverty reduction, the innovation in tropical agriculture science and technology.
