Plant Nano Biology aims to assist the scientists via efficient publication of research concerned with the interactions between nanoparticles, plants (lower and higher) and plant associated micro-organisms as well as the resulting impacts on plant growth and development. The studies investigating the growth promotion and toxicity in plants due to nanoparticles, the possible ways to assess the mechanisms involved in these interactions and the responses shown by plants are central to our journal. We aim to publish high quality peer-reviewed papers addressing the various nanoparticle-induced impacts in plants. Our journal will commit to rapid dissemination of results to the readers across the globe without compromising with the standards of quality assessment for the publication. This journal will encompass the broad spectrum of nanoparticles usage in plants and its related aspects.

All levels of plant-nanoparticle interaction either molecular, cellular or biochemical along with mechanisms involved in providing the growth and yield promotion as well as abiotic and biotic stress resistance in plants, fall within the scope of this journal. Plant Nano Biology will welcome high-grade submissions related (but not limited) to interactions between plants and nanoparticles in the form of research articles, as well as review articles and short communications.

The content is distributed between 9 main subject areas supervised by Subject Editors, specialized in the respective domain:

  • Plant mediated and chemically synthesized

  • Nanoparticles: plant development, growth and differentiation

  • Mechanisms of uptake, transport and assimilation of nanoparticles in plants

  • Biochemistry and metabolism of plant under nanoparticles

  • Nanoparticle and Photobiology: photosynthesis, biochemistry (including enzymology), physiology, cell biology

  • Plant Nano-biotechnology and Molecular Nano-biology: Genomics, proteomics, genetics, functional plant breeding, systems biology

  • Nanoparticles, plant hormones and signaling molecules crosstalk

  • Nanoparticles, plants and microorganisms interactions and abiotic and biotic stress resistance

  • Nano-fertilizer, Nano-pesticide, nanosensors and crops

  • It is a forum that will advance world class research by publishing articles in the areas of nanobiotechnology, plant-nano interaction and role of nanomaterials in crop plants. It will serve as a platform for presentation, scrutiny and discussion of the research going on in these fields. Keywords: Plant and nanoparticles; Nanoparticles and plant growth; Nano nutrients; Nanoparticles and plant stress; Nanosensors; Nanotechnology and plants; Nanoparticles and oxidative stress; Nanoparticles and plant development; Nanoparticles and plant health; Nanofertilizers; Nanoparticles and plant biology; Nano-biotechnology.
