A través de una estructura coherente y homogénea en cada uno de los capítulos, los autores presentan un índice de 30 capítulos en los que se presenta los principales temas relacionados tanto con la anatomía quirúrgica como con el tratamiento quirúrgico propio de los aneurismas.  De hecho, el libro responde a la propia filosofía del grupo de autores basada en una cirugía anatómica en la que existe un profundo respecto a la conservación de la anatomía normal como garantía de la conservación de la función y de la resección total de la lesión. Uno de los puntos fuertes de la obra es la originalidad del material gráfico utilizado. Las fotografías anatómicas incluidas en el libro son todas originales y han sido realizadas ad hoc por los autores para este libro. Se incluyen en esta obra una colección de 12 vídeos en los que se abordan los principales procedimientos quirúrgicos indicados para esta condición. Enfoque eminentemente clínico-quirúrgico pero siempre partiendo punto de vista más práctico para el especialista.
