La obra se presenta como una novedad en nuestro catálogo que viene a posicionarse como el companion perfecto para el texto de referencia del mismo autor, Gray. Anatomía para estudiantes 4ª ed, constituyendo un recurso ideal para el estudiante, magníficamente ilustrado y con un claro enfoque hacia la correlación clínica. La mayoría de sus imágenes son totalmente nuevas y se han diseñado de forma que permitam reflejar un  mayor grado de detalle que el que se puede ofrecer en un texto de anatomía. Por otro lado, en el Atlas se intenta que la mayoría de las figuras vayan acompañadas de sus correspondientes imágenes de radiodiagnóstico (CT, RM, ecografía, endoscopia, etc). Tiene el mismo índice de contenidos que el texto de referencia. Cada sección se inicia con una portadilla que incluye todas las imágenes que van a verse en ella. Por lo general se sigue la siguiente secuencia: -Anatomía de superficie, -Estructuras óseas, -Estrucutras musculares, -Vascularización e Innervación. Al final de cada capítulo se presentan tablas y dibujos esquemáticos para facilitar un repaso rápido de los principales conceptos que tradicionalmente presentan un mayor grado de complejidad.
