The aim of the journal is to inform clinicians, researchers, patients, and policy makers to the latest advances in our field. We do this primarily through the publication of original research and analytic reviews. Our original research articles must present original scientific experiments or clinical observations. Our reviews aim to give readers a deeper understanding of the knowledge-base of our field through papers that critically assess the existing literature rather than just summarize it. We expect authors to provide expert, unbiased, insightful analysis of their topic. All manuscripts undergo peer review by a minimum of two reviewers. We also aim to alert readers to emerging technologies as well as new applications of basic science to clinical transfusion practice.
Our mission is to inform a worldwide readership of the best knowledge in transfusion.
Prospective authors should review the Article Types in the Guide for Authors.
