Divided into three pillars: People, Planet, and Prosperity, articles will be mapped to geosciences projects and activities as they are positively impacting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's).
The journal will include invited review papers and regular papers in a variety of geo sub-disciplines, with expert editors for each subject area. The purpose will be on quality and meaningful papers that act as a catalyst to facilitate change and add value and motivation to the geoscience community focused on a sustainable earth. The journal will aim to have rigorous peer review and editorial processes, with reasonable time to first decision.
All article and special issue topics will stem from one or more of the three fundamental dimensions:

Creating awareness of geoscience in society

Understanding resource and health of water environments
Protecting geodiversity and biodiversity with responsible production and consumption
Assessing forest ecosystem health
Prosperity dimension: positive impact on socioeconomic systems
Setting standards for resource extraction and reporting
Geoethics and accountability
Building resilience to geoenvironmental hazards
Addressing discrimination in all forms
Forecasting volcanic activity and risks
Heritage site preservation
