ECONOMÍAunam is an academic publication which is embracing a number of significant ideas that are surrounding the theory and practice of the economic science from different perspectives. The sum of these frame of minds are expected to contribute with the spreading of original intellectual developments and also with the analysis of both the domestic and international economic atmosphere. Moreover, these points of view are aiming to feed those arguments related with the decision making process as well as to achieve an influence over the economic policy. Nevertheless, this publishing is going on beyond the Academy by considering even more segments of research and analysis which are not necessarily related within this environment, as long as they accomplished with the scientific and argumentative rigorousness requisites along with the introduction of contemporary topics and subjects of general interest. Aims • To increase the influence and renown of the National University, as well as the stature of the School of Economic Science, the Institute of Economic Science Research, ENEP Aragón and ENEP Acatlán. • To inform and to provide with a guideline to the society about the national and international economic atmosphere. • To provide to the University with a stronger position in the discussion about the economic development in Mexico and, in general terms, in the discussion about the socio-economic realities of the country and the world. • To disseminate the research and contributions of both the social scientists of the National University and those from other academic institutions, organisms and entities belonging either to the public or private sector in the country, or those coming from overseas. • To spread the theoretical, empirical or even reflexive contributions of the National University to other Universities or Academic Institutions in Mexico and overseas. Even more, to propagate these contributions into a number of non academic sectors such as organisations, public and private entities in the country or abroad, and in general to those who are following the socio-economic environment and the designers of the economic policies. • To encourage the dialogue between the social scientists of the National University with those from other Institutions from Mexico and abroad. To promote a bigger and wider affiliation of both academics and specialists to ECONOMÍAunam. This journal is indexed in CLASE, Conacyt, DGB-UNAM, e-journal UNAM, Latindex, Portal de Revistas Científicas y Arbitradas de la UNAM, Redalyc, Scielo. Energy Economics

  • ISSN: 0140-9883
  • 5 Year impact factor: 11.7
  • Impact factor: 12.8
Energy Economics is the premier field journal for energy economics and energy finance. Themes include, but are not limited to, the exploitation, conversion and use of energy, markets for energy commodities and derivatives, regulation and taxation, forecasting, environment and climate, international trade, development, and monetary policy. Contributions to the journal can use a range of methods, if appropriately and rigorously applied, including but not limited to experiments, surveys, econometrics, decomposition, simulation models, equilibrium models, optimization models, and analytical models. Submitted papers must be replicable. Submitted papers are typically pre-reviewed by the editor-in-chief and the handling editor. Papers generally need two or more positive review reports to be invited for a revise-and-resubmit. Replication policy Energy Economics publishes an eclectic mix of papers using a wide variety of methods to shed light on a range of topics. Our replication policy reflects this, and is applied in spirit rather than to the letter. We encourage the submission of replication studies. Replication studies should reproduce the key results of the original study, replicate them and extend them in a substantive way, while explaining the differences. For econometric papers, authors should provide program(s) and data set(s), plus a readme file on how to replicate each table, graph and other result. Ideally, there will be one command to reproduce the entire paper. Use of interactive software is discouraged. The readme file should identify the software and toolboxes used. If data are proprietary, the readme file should make clear how data can be obtained. For experimental and survey-based papers, authors should provide the original instructions (plus an English translation if applicable), information about subject eligibility and selection, the raw data, and any program used to analyze the data. For analytic papers, authors should provide data and programs used for the simulations (if any). Detailed derivations and proofs should be placed in an appendix. For papers using simulation, equilibrium or optimization models, authors should provide data and programs. If data or programs are proprietary, unambiguous information on the version should be provided, plus information on how data or programs can be obtained. Small models developed in-house should be provided. For large models developed in-house, a standard version should be provided together with a detailed description of the changes made for the version used in the paper at hand. Data and programs can be provided either as an appendix to the paper or as a stable link to a website. Data files should be in machine-readable format. Benefits to authors We also provide many author benefits, such as free PDFs, a liberal copyright policy, special discounts on Elsevier publications and much more. The International Journal of the Political, Economic, Planning, Environmental and Social Aspects of Energy Energy Policy is an international peer-reviewed journal addressing the policy implications of energy supply and use from their economic, social, planning and environmental aspects. Papers may cover global, regional, national, or even local topics that are of wider policy significance, and of interest to international agencies, governments, public and private sector entities, local communities and non-governmental organisations. Within this broad spectrum, topics of particular interest include energy and environmental regulation, energy supply security, the quality and efficiency of energy services, the effectiveness of market-based approaches and/or governmental interventions, technological innovation and diffusion, and voluntary initiatives where the broader policy implications can be recognised. Policy prescriptions are required to be supported by rigorous analysis and balanced appraisal. Established in 1969, European Economic Review is one of the oldest general-interest economics journals for all of Europe. It is intended as a primary publication for theoretical and empirical research in all areas of economics. The purpose of the journal is to select articles that will have high relevance and impact in a wide range of topics. All work submitted to the journal should be original in motivation or modeling and be capable of replication. The EER receives about 700 submissions each year and the editors aim to hand down editorial decision in a timely manner. The average turnaround time to first decision is about 60 days, with an approximate acceptance rate of 10% [http://journalinsights.elsevier.com/journals/0014-2921/review_speed]. To avoid unnecessary delays, a paper may be returned to the author before full review if the editors determine that it is not suitable for the journal. This decision is made in the interest of the author to avoid loss of valuable time. Please note that in all cases the submission fee is non-refundable. All materials required for replication (including computer programs and data sets) should be provided by the authors (see data policy link). The journal publishes 8 issues a year. Occasionally the EER organizes special issues or topical sections in regular issues to emphasize new research directions. The journal EER charges a non-refundable fee of EURO 100 for unsolicited manuscripts. PhD-students pay a reduced submission fee of EURO 50. Please note that for authors from European countries, the relevant VAT amount will be added to the submission fee. Submission fees will be used to support journal activities.
