IIMB Management Review

  • ISSN: 0970-3896
  • 5 Year impact factor: 3
  • Impact factor: 1.7
IIMB Management Review (IMR) is a quarterly journal brought out by the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. Addressed to management practitioners, researchers and academics, IMR aims to engage rigorously with practices, concepts and ideas in the field of management, with an emphasis on providing managerial insights, in a reader friendly format. To this end IMR invites manuscripts that provide novel managerial insights in any of the core business functions. The manuscript should be rigorous, that is, the findings should be supported by either empirical data or a well-justified theoretical model, and well written. While these two requirements are necessary for acceptance, they do not guarantee acceptance. The sole criterion for publication is contribution to the extant management literature. Although all manuscripts are welcome, our special emphasis is on papers that focus on emerging economies throughout the world. Such papers may either improve our understanding of markets in such economies through novel analyses or build models by taking into account the special characteristics of such economies to provide guidance to managers. Full-length research articles (up to 8,000 words) on all the business functions, aspects of policy and management pedagogy form the core of the journal; at present focussed discussion and interview papers, and book reviews are also featured. IMR is a peer-reviewed journal and follows a 'double blind' review process. All papers submitted to IMR go through a preliminary review at the editorial desk and those considered appropriate are sent to an Associate Editor. On the recommendation of the Associate Editor, the article may be rejected or assigned to two reviewers from the editorial board.

Innovation and Green Development

  • ISSN: 2949-7531
The Article Publishing Charge (APC) fee will be covered by Business School, Zhengzhou University for articles submitted by 31st December 2026. Given the increasingly severe issues of environmental degradation, biodiversity loss, climate change, etc., the world must move towards a sustainable development approach, and issues including technological innovation, green governance and environmental protection are the keys to achieving this ambition. The demand, supply and power generation of fossil energy have led to various environmental challenges, which makes it necessary for us to update processes and products to realize innovation. The improvement of innovation for green development requires the support of relative policies. Innovation and Green Development attempts to publish both theoretical and empirical papers to advance our understanding and provide novel insights into environmental policies and green innovation broadly defined for achieving sustainable goals. Therefore, this journal will mainly focus on the following areas: Innovation, such as the improvements of environment-related technologies and climate change adaptation technologies. Environment Policies include government policies and measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve energy efficiency and support the development and deployment of renewables and other clean energy technologies. Green marketing and green finance, such as green financing policies; energy market financialization; government green subsidies; green investment, etc. Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG), for example regulatory reforms and policy changes; green financial instruments and investment strategies; and climate-related financial disclosure. Data and computer programs associated with articles published in the International Journal of Forecasting are provided as online supplements on ScienceDirect. Objectivity To ensure fairness and objectivity, double-blind reviewing will be used. Replication studies The IJF encourages replication studies, especially of highly cited papers. See Encouraging replication and reproducible research (an editorial published in 2010) for further information. A replication study that confirms that a published paper can be successfully replicated would normally be quite short (about a page is often sufficient to describe what calculations and comparisons have been done). Where a previously published paper has not been successfully replicated, more details are required to explain how the results differ from those previously published.

The Journal for Information Professionals The International Journal of Information Management (IJIM) is an international, peer-reviewed journal which aims to bring its readers the very best analysis and discussion in the developing field of information management. The journal: • Keeps the reader briefed with major papers, reports and reviews • Is topical: Viewpoint articles and other regular features including Research Notes, Case Studies and a Reviews section help keep the reader up to date with current issues. • Focusses on high quality papers that address contemporary issues for all those involved in information management and which make a contribution to advancing information management theory and practice. Information is critical for the survival and growth of organisations and people. The challenge for Information management is now less about managing activities that collect, store and disseminate information. Rather, there is greater focus on managing activities that make changes in patterns of behaviour of customers, people, and organizations, and information that leads to changes in the way people use information to engage in knowledge focussed activities. Information management covers a wide field and we encourage submissions from diverse areas of practice and settings including business, health, education and government. Topics covered include: Aspects of information management in learning organisations, health care (patients as well health workers and managers), business intelligence, security in organizations, social interactions and community development, knowledge management, information design and delivery, information for health care, Information for knowledge creation, legal and regulatory issues, IS-enabled innovations in information, content and knowledge management, philosophical and methodological approaches to information management research, new and emerging agendas for information research and reflective accounts of professional practice.International Journal of Information Management is the companion title to the open access journal International Journal of Information Management Data Insights. International Journal of Information Management Data Insights

  • ISSN: 2667-0968
Please note that relevant articles submitted to Special Issues in 2023 will have the full APC waived.A companion title to the International Journal of Information Management, IJIM Data Insights is a peer reviewed gold open access journal focusing on empirical evidences for information management using emerging data science methods. Data science is an emerging research methodology that contributes to information management through the influence of data analysis methods borrowed from disciplines like computer science, operations research and statistics. It attempts to extract knowledge and generate inferences by using a variety of methods, processes, algorithms and perspectives to provide actionable insights into a context or problem. The empirical evidences could be extracted from structured, semi-structured or unstructured data and contribute to information management and data driven decision making literature. IJIM Data Insights is interested in publishing state-of-the-art articles which address one or more the following themes and contexts: Empirical studies which use a data-driven approach for contributing towards information management literature. Data science and big data studies surrounding unstructured data analysis like opinion mining, sentiment analysis, text mining, image mining, video analytics and network science generated by individuals, groups, communities and firms. Studies which adopt emerging methods like machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms for improving decision making and information management are welcome if they provide novel empirical evidences. Case studies on information management which demonstrate theoretical insights based on empirical evidences in an organizational or national setting. Studies in related disciplines in management and social sciences can be published if they contribute to information management and data-based decision making literature adequately. The journal publishes studies that validate theoretical models based on cross-sectional and longitudinal data, experiments, and even qualitative research. However, strength of data analysis for demonstrating findings objectively would be very critical for these studies to get published. Studies surrounding emerging technologies like blockchain, IoT and others which use machine learning and data science are welcome, if they are connected with information management and data driven decision making. Case studies which demonstrate a practical application of the methods and practices of projects using data science and information management would also be welcome.

International Journal of Production Economics

  • ISSN: 0925-5273
  • 5 Year impact factor: 11
  • Impact factor: 12
The International Journal of Production Economics focuses on topics treating the interface between engineering and management. All aspects of the subject in relation to manufacturing and process industries, as well as production in general are covered. The journal is interdisciplinary in nature, considering whole cycles of activities, such as the product life cycle - research, design, development, test, launch, disposal - and the material flow cycle - supply, production, distribution. The ultimate objective of the journal is to disseminate knowledge for improving industrial practice and to strengthen the theoretical base necessary for supporting sound decision making. It provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and the presentation of new developments in theory and application, wherever engineering and technology meet the managerial and economic environment in which industry operates. In character, the journal combines the high standards of a traditional academic approach with the practical value of industrial applications. Articles accepted need to be based on rigorous sound theory and contain an essential novel scientific contribution. Tracing economic and financial consequences in the analysis of the problem and solution reported, belongs to the central theme of the journal. Submissions should strictly follow the Guide for Authors of the journal. We are interested in publishing high quality survey and review papers in relevant domains. However, we stress that the hurdles for consideration of such papers are high. They must demonstrate a strong need, show that they are well-executed, and generate valuable insights. Survey and review papers must position themselves clearly in relation to existing related reviews and surveys in the field. Systematic reviews that merely describe publication patterns in a particular field are unlikely to be sent out for review for IJPE. All survey and review papers must show valuable critique of the field and new insights. Such papers will normally require author(s) with sufficient experience in the field to make appropriate judgements. Benefits to authors We also provide many author benefits, such as free PDFs, a liberal copyright policy, special discounts on Elsevier publications and much more.
