Psychiatry Research Communications provides rapid publication of original research, secondary data analyses and reviews of timely topics in psychiatry. Comments about previous papers published in the journal may be submitted as Letters to the Editor.
Inclusiveness and diversity
Papers submitted to Psychiatry Research Communications should be characterized by the highest scientific rigor to increase their reproducibility. Yet, one of Psychiatry Research Communications 's major tenets is the provision of constructive feedback. In Psychiatry Research Communications we adopt an inclusive approach that stimulates submission of creative research regardless of its geographical origin. As most underprivileged individuals with mental disorders live in low and middle-income countries, the translation of findings obtained in traditional centers to the reality of less developed areas is critical. Therefore, Psychiatry Research Communications also aims to be an outlet for good quality papers coming from all over the globe.
