New Horizons in Translational Medicine (NHTM) is the official publication of the http://www.eutranslationalmedicine.org/European Society for Translational Medicine. NHTM publishes high quality manuscripts covering all aspects of translational medicine. Special consideration is given to novel findings generated in cellular and molecular biology and omics disciplines. Moreover, high quality manuscripts describing novel developments in the field of biomarkers, disease modelling, big data mining and management are considered for publication. Along with original studies, focused reviews are also welcomed. Selection of papers for peer review and potential publication is based on their scientific excellence, distinctive contribution to knowledge (including methodological development) and their importance to the field.

Compliance with Funding Bodies and Open Access Publication in NHTM fulfils many funding body policies for Open Access. The Publisher, Elsevier, has established a number of agreements with funding bodies which allow authors to comply with their funder's open access policies, including but not limited to the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (UK), Department of Health UK, European Molecular Biology Laboratory, Howard Hughes Medical Institute (US), Medical Research Council (UK), National Institutes of Health (US), Wellcome Trust (UK) and the World Health Organisation.
