International Journal of Particle Therapy

Our Mission

Launched in 2014 as the official journal of the Particle Therapy Co-Operative Group, it is the mission of IJPT to provide a preferred venue for disseminating the most up-to-date information on the clinical, physical, and biological research in proton, light-ion, and heavy charged-particle therapy. Since its founding, IJPT has published articles by nearly 300 prominent radiation oncologists, physicists, and dosimetrists from 200 institutions around the world.

The IJPT is a quarterly open access journal. Visit our open access page for more information. Articles published in IJPT are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC-BY). Articles are also digitally archived by PubMed Central, Portico, J-Gate, EBSCOhost, Google Scholar, the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Web of Science, and Elsevier's Scopus, among others.
