Geopsychiatry is a journal dedicated to advancing the emerging field of on the intersection of environmental, political, social factors and mental health. The journal examines the impact of natural and manmade disasters—including earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, climate change, wars, conflicts, and terrorism—on mental health and wellbeing, particularly in the context of displacement and migration.

The journal aims to disseminate high-quality, Open Access research and informed opinion on the determinants of mental health affected by geographical, political, commercial, and social factors, while providing a platform for diverse voices, representing perspectives from both global and local angle.

By fostering a multidisciplinary dialogue, Geopsychiatry seeks to contribute to a deeper understanding of the complex factors influencing mental health in the face of global challenges.
