EngMedicine is an international, peer-reviewed, open access research publication covering the full spectrum of research from the interdisciplinary discipline of medical engineering and translational medicine, inspire medical engineers to help solve understanding of human disease, or its prevention, diagnosis, treatment, alleviation or monitoring. The journal helps to build bridges between bench researchers, medical engineers and clinicians.

EngMedicine aspires to become the most prominent publishing venue in the interdisciplinary discipline of medical engineering and translational medicine by bringing together the most important advances in the discipline, enhancing their visibility by means of opinion and news articles, and providing overviews of the state of the art in each field through topic-, disease- or technology-focused review articles.
