Description

Economic Analysis and Policy (established 1970) publishes articles from all branches of economics with a particular focus on research, theoretical and applied, which has strong policy relevance. The journal also publishes survey articles and empirical replications on key policy issues. Authors are expected to highlight the main insights in a non-technical introduction and in the conclusion.

Articles may be submitted under four categories:

  • Analyses of Topical Policy Issues
These articles provide in-depth analysis relevant to both academics and policy makers of important contemporary policy issues, including in relation to the development and implementation of policy.

  • Modelling Economic Policy Issues
These articles apply quantitative techniques to analyse key economic policy challenges.

  • Survey Articles
These articles, by experts in the relevant field, survey key policy topics in the economic research literature.

  • Economic Research Replications
These replications test the robustness of prior influential published research on economic policy issues either using the same, extended or alternative datasets and different techniques.
