Colloidal systems for energy and environmental technologies (energy and energy storage, environmental technologies)
Advanced methodologies (microscopy methods, NMR, rheology, surface analysis techniques, surface forces, x-ray, light and neutron scattering, theory and simulation)
In addition, COCIS publishes "hot topic" special issues focused on emerging or timely topics. For each of the above areas, Section Editors are appointed, who commission expert scientists to write informed and critical articles on a selected topic. COCIS articles are not intended to be comprehensive compilations of the relevant literature, but are rather personal articles by the invited contributor(s), which aim to inform the reader of the major developments in the area, and to identify those papers which have made the greatest impact on the field, and open new perspectives. Normally, the period covered by the review concerns the previous five years. This is a Current Opinion journal, a series of established invite-only review journals that offer authoritative, systematic synthesis of emerging and hot topics.
