We publish in all related basic science and clinical areas including but not limited to: cellular & molecular neuroscience, biochemistry, genetics & genomics, bioinformatics & computational neuroscience, neuropharmacology, neuroimmunology, neurotechnology, behavioural neuroscience, novel therapeutics, diagnostics and biomarkers, pediatric and adult neurology, neurosurgery, neuropathology, neuroimaging, neuro-oncology, neurophysiology, neuroendocrinology, and psychiatry.
The criteria for publication in Brain Disorders are scientific originality, validity, significance, and rigor, as well as the level of interest to the journal's interdisciplinary readership. The submissions are assessed against these criteria through a rapid, rigorous, fair and efficient peer-review process. The editorial team is comprised of international experts in their respective fields. They adhere to the core principles and policies of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE, Committee on Publication Ethics) and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE, International Committee of Medical Journal Editors) to ensure the integrity of the peer-review process.
