Academic Radiology

As the journal of the Association of Academic Radiology and its affiliated societies and affinity groups, Academic Radiology publishes articles related to all aspects of academic radiology including radiology education; emerging research related to advances in radiology education, diagnostic imaging and interventional techniques; quality improvement; population health; health services research; academic practice administration; health system redesign; and leadership.

Article types include hypothesis-driven investigations, brief reports on innovations related to all aspects of academic radiology, clinical reviews, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, white papers, perspectives, point/counterpoint, thought-provoking commentaries on published literature outside radiology, and letters-to-the-editor. There are also invited columns related to arts and humanities, medicolegal issues, and topic-specific dilemmas in radiology education and practice. The editorial team also sponsors focus issues. The editorial team welcomes topic suggestions for invited columns and focus issues from AAR affinity groups, SIGs, affiliated societies, and AAR members.
