Dr. Rofice Dickson currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at the Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering, Lahore University of Management Science (LUMS), Pakistan. He has over 10 years of research and development experience in academia and industry.
He received his B.Sc. from the University of Punjab, Pakistan, in 2013. Subsequently, he assumed the role of Assistant Manager of Production at DG Khan Cement Company Limited, Pakistan, for three and a half years. During this period, he continued his studies and obtained an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Punjab in 2016. Afterward, he joined Pukyong National University (South Korea) to pursue his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, focusing on synthesis, design, and analysis for macroalgae conversion to biofuels and bioenergy. During his Ph.D., he also worked at the Process and System Engineering Center (PROSYS) at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). Upon completing his Ph.D. in 2020, he returned to PROSYS research center as a postdoctoral researcher, where he developed novel models and tools for superstructure optimization of bio-P2X.
