Ping-Yen Liu
Prof. Ping-Yen Liu holds the position of Director of Internal Medicine at the National Cheng Kung University Hospital in Tainan, Taiwan. He also serves as an Affiliated Professor within the Institute of Clinical Medicine and the Division of Cardiology, both part of the College of Medicine at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Tainan, Taiwan. His current research interests include the design and characterization of optical nanobiosensors, portable diagnostic devices, and their biomedical applications for point-of-care testing. He received his Ph.D. in Cardiology from the Institute of Clinical Medicine, College of Medicine, National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan. He completed His Post-doctoral fellowships at the Division of Cardiology, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, MA, USA, and the Vascular Medicine Research Labs (Under James K. Liao) at Harvard Medical School, USA. Proficient in areas such as Cardiac Catheterization, Echocardiography, Lipids, and Atherosclerosis Research, as well as Gene and AI Research, he brings a wealth of expertise to his field. He has made significant contributions to the field of science with more than 140 research articles and holds 2 patents. He also won several (>42) important academic awards including the Da-Yu Wu's Memorial Award in 2010 from the Taiwan Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) for his Distinguished Young Research Achievement, the Distinguished Research Award, the 2010 "Ding-Non Award", from Taiwan Society of Cardiology (TSOC), as well as the research award in 2012 from Taiwan Society of Lipid and Atherosclerosis (TSLA), etc. He actively supervises more than 20 doctoral and graduate students and clinical researchers at NCKU.

Tharmaraj Vairaperumal
Dr. Tharmaraj Vairaperumal is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Institute of Clinical Medicine in National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. He completed his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, India. Where he developed nano/fluorescent probe-based chemosensors for metal ions and neutral analytes. His ongoing research focuses on the development of nanomaterials-based biosensors for Point-of-Care Testing (PoCT), targeting cardiovascular disease biomarkers, as well as nanodrug delivery systems. He has authored 16 research articles and 8 book chapters.

Devi Selvaraj
Dr. Devi Selvaraj is working as an Assistant Professor in the PG and Research Department of Chemistry, at Cauvery College for Women, Tamil Nadu, India. She successfully obtained her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Madras, Chennai, India, specializing in the development of Metal hexacyanoferrate nanotube-based electrochemical sensors for biomolecules. At present, her research focuses on the application of nanomaterials in electrochemical bioremediation for environmental samples. She has contributed to the field with 13 research articles and 8 book chapters.
