Stuart Goodman
Professor with Tenure in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Stanford University with a courtesy appointment in the Department of Bioengineering at Stanford University. Dr. Goodman received his BSc, MD and MSc (Institute of Medical Science) from the University of Toronto, and his PhD in Orthopedic Medical Science from Lund University in Sweden. His clinical research interests center on the outcome of surgery for arthritis including primary and revision total joint replacement, juvenile arthritis, and osteonecrosis of the hip and knee. His basic science interests center on biocompatibility of orthopaedic implants, inflammation, and musculoskeletal tissue regeneration and repair. Dr. Goodman is on the editorial board of the Journal of Orthopaedic Research (Associate Editor), Clinical Orthopaedics (Deputy Editor-Hip Society Liason), Biomaterials (Associate Editor), Journal of Arthroplasty, Journal of Biomedical Materials Research, and other journals, and is a manuscript reviewer for over 20 journals in the fields of orthopaedic surgery, arthritis, bioengineering and biomaterials. Dr. Goodman has published over 500 peer-reviewed manuscripts in medical and bioengineering journals.

Michiaki Takagi
Dr. Takagi received his BSc, MD, and PhD from the Yamagata University. His research carrier started in 1986, focused on cellular function of macrophages in relation to bone resorption and foreign body reaction, as well as rheumatoid arthritis and allied diseases. As a visiting researcher of Ph.D. program at the University of Helsinki, supervised by late Professor Seppo Santavirta and late Professor Yrjö Konttinen. learned importance of translational research, bench-to-bedside, and research mind. Has experience with joint reconstructive surgeries for 30 years, carrier of basic research and supervising Ph.D. students and leadership of teams consisting of surgeons, clinicians, pathologists, molecular biologists, bioengineers, biostatisticians and other related professionals for the translational research, both locally and internationally. Dr. Takagi has published over 150 peer-reviewed manuscripts in medical and bioengineering journals.

Jiri Gallo
He obtained his PhD in Surgery at Palacký University Olomouc in 2003 and was appointed Professor of Orthopaedics at Charles University in 2013. He has wide experience in clinical research in the field of orthopaedics. His main research focus is on failure of total hip/knee replacements, especially aseptic loosening, periprosthetic osteolysis, and septic failure, all from the perspective of prevention, diagnosis and treatment; he collaborates with immunogeneticists, microbiologists, pathologists, biomechanicists, tribologists, statisticians, and other specialists on these complex research tasks. He has recently centered on multidisciplinary research projects employing advanced technologies from other scientific fields (nanotechnologies, machine learning, biostatistics) in order to enhance the diagnostic/therapeutic processes in orthopaedics. His research projects on Gene expression profiling of the periprosthetic tissues was awarded with the Certificate of Merit of the Minister of Health of the Czech Republic in 2015. Dr. Gallo actively participates in the work of several Czech and international professional associations and journal editorial boards. He held the position of the chairperson of the Czech Society for Orthopaedics and Traumatology in 2017–2018. Dr. Gallo has published over 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts in medical and bioengineering journals.
