High-Power Electronics, Volume 2 presents the electronic processes in devices of the magnetron type and electromagnetic oscillations in different systems. This book explores the problems of electronic energetics. Organized into 11 chapters, this volume begins with an overview of the motion of electrons in a flat model of the magnetron, taking into account the in-phase wave and the reverse wave. This text then examines the processes of transmission of electromagnetic waves of various polarization and the wave reflection from grids made of periodically distributed infinite metal conductors. Other chapters consider the parameters involved in the boundary conditions of the grid. This book discusses as well the spectrum of natural oscillations of closed resonant systems having azimuthal periodicity. The final chapter deals with dosimeters applied in the laboratory for use with generators of decimeter waves. This book is a valuable resource for scientific workers and engineers involved in superhigh-frequency electronics and bordering problems.
