About the authors

Indu Singh

Dr. Indu Singh is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Centre of Pharmaceutics, Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Previously, she worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Central University, Lucknow.

She has over nine years of post-PhD teaching experience and holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.), Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutics. She completed her Ph.D. at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad, under the Government of India, in the area of Nanomedicines specifically on bioconjugated nanotherapeutics for tumor targeting.

A gold medalist in both her B. Pharm. and M. Pharm. programs, Dr. Singh was awarded the GATE and GPAT scholarship by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) for her M. Pharm. and the Research Fellowship from the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India for her Ph.D. studies. She is a registered pharmacist with the Pharmacy Council of India through the Uttar Pradesh Pharmacy Council, Lucknow.

In 2015, she qualified the Women Scientist-C (WOS-C) examination (KIRAN-IPR) conducted by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi. She also received the Young Scientist International Travel Grant from the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), India, to attend the 6th International Conference on Nanomaterials-Research & Application (NANOCON-2014) held in Brno, Czech Republic (EU).

Dr. Singh has received numerous awards for her oral and poster presentations at various national and international conferences. She has published over 70 research papers in reputed international journals with high impact factors, authored 20 book chapters, and written four Scopus-indexed books. Additionally, she has filed four patents, with one patent already granted to her credit. She was the invited speaker for IBRO-APRC Associate School in November 2022.

Alison Weston

Alison has been working in hematology and transfusion Science (blood bank) laboratories for more than 30 years. She has also spent more than half that time training new scientists and teaching students in laboratory classes of Medical Laboratory Science Programs at various universities. She has also been involved in teaching and convening continuing professional development workshops in hematology for practicing scientists.

Avinash Kundur

Dr. Kundar is an associate lecturer at Griffith University and has been a demonstrator for hematology and advanced hematology at the University for nearly 5 years.
