Ke Qu obtained his M.Sc. in Chemistry from Michigan State University, USA and Ph.D. in Health and Environmental Chemistry from Oakland University, USA. He is now supervisor of master degree students at Chengdu University of Technology, China and his research focuses on environmental analytical chemistry. He has published more than twenty articles in esteemed peer-reviewed international professional journals, such as Accounts of Chemical Research, Environmental Research, Trends in Analytical Chemistry, Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical, Talanta, Electrochimica Acta, Journal of Electroanalytical Chemistry, Journal of The Electrochemical Society, Synthetic Metals and so on. He has been selected as Reviewer Board Member by the journal Polymers, and serves as reviewers for various peer-reviewed international professional journals, such as American Chemical Society’s Journal of Agricultural & Food Chemistry, Molecules, and so on.

From 2003 to 2004, he was a senior visiting scholar of the Center for Earth, Ocean and Environment Studies at University of Plymouth, UK. He has published more than 160 academic papers and several books: Environmental Monitoring (Editor-in-Chief, Higher Education Press, China, 2006), Environment and Health (Editor-in-Chief, China Environmental Science Press, 2006), and Modern Microwave Sample Preparation Technology (Editor-in-Chief, Sichuan University Press, China, 2003).
