Paul Pastusek
Paul has a BSME from Texas A&M University and an MBA from the University of Houston. He has 46 years' relentlessly redesigning experience. He is a Registered Professional Engineer, holds 42 US patents, and has delivered over 75 papers and presentations on drilling technology and is using that expertise to facilitate drilling tech transfer. Paul is a recognized drilling mechanics Subject Matter Expert. Among his many awards, Paul was a 2022-2023 SPE Distinguished Lecturer (Auto Driller Control Systems), a 2020 SPE International Drilling Engineering Award and the 2017 SPE Gulf Coast Drilling Engineering Award.
Paul has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to providing deep technical training and support for Drilling Engineers and rig personnel . He is widely recognized as a mentor for the industry, leading efforts to upgrade the IADC dull grading system and co-founder of the Open Source Drilling Community (OSDC) .

Robert (Bob) P. Radtke
Robert (Bob) Radtke is the retired president of Technology International Inc where he pioneered many downhole seismic applications. He has a BS in Material Science and Engineering from The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Bob holds 15 patents related to drill bit and drilling innovations. He has participated in a number of industry projects including one with the NETL project designed to reduce drilling costs, and delivered numerous industry workshops including hosting a SPE Emerging Technology Workshop and an AAPG initiative on Seismic While Drilling (SWD).

Hani Ibrahim
Hani Ibrahim has over 44 years of expertise working in diverse well construction design and drilling tools across the world, including 5 years working in renewables (geothermal energy). He has garnered international industry and management experience with XGS Energy, Unocal, Petrofina, QGPC, Hughes Christensen, ReedHycalog, Smith International, Schlumberger, Quantico, and H&P. He has two patents, 12 SPE papers, and is an active member of the IADC Technical Publications Committee book. Hani is acting Communications Chair for SPE’s Drilling Systems Automation Technical Section (DSATS), a President’s Award recipient, Smith International, and an Orange Belt in Continuous Improvement (change management and six sigma).
