Earth-Observations-X

The microarticle journal 'Earth-Observations-X' (EOX) focuses on studies addressing any research projects, data, tools or methods descriptions within the field of Earth System Applications with a focus on Geoinformation and Geoscience for Society. The journal is dedicated to further humans' understanding of the planet, its inhabitants, the environment and how technology can serve as basis of that knowledge.

Subjects are encouraged to have an emphasis on environmental and societal issues, but are not limited by:

Ecological Forecasting and environmental issues

Oceans and coastal zones

Global climate change and weather studies

Natural resources

Agriculture and food security

Disasters and disaster management

Health, epidemics & air Quality

Urban areas, social patterns and related issues

Methods and tools to analyze remote sensing and earth observational data

Optional but highly encourages:

Data and background information used for the described research should be freely available for the public

Content innovations to support microarticles, e.g. Google Maps, Data Profile, AudioSlides, inline supplementary code, or featured multimedia.

Earth-Observations-X welcomes all remote sensing techniques and data sources, including studies using novel techniques such as crowd info or big data sources.

This journal makes use of a template for submissions. Only submissions following the template will be considered for publications. Please find the template here.
