He completed his Ph.D. in Software Engineering at Wuhan University, China, in 2021. His current research focuses on enhancing the quality and efficiency of software systems using advanced technologies and methodologies. Dr. Waseem’s research interests include AI-based Software Engineering, Liquid AI, Microservices Architecture, and Multi-Cloud Operations.

Tommi Mikkonen
Dr. Tommi Mikkonen is a Full Professor of Software Engineering at the Faculty of Information Technology, University of Jyväskylä, Finland. He completed his Ph.D. in Software Engineering at Tampere University of Technology, Finland. In addition to his academic career, Dr. Mikkonen has held various technology leadership roles at companies such as Nokia, Sun Microsystems, and Mozilla. His research interests include AI-based Software Engineering, Liquid Software, Software Development Methods, and Cloud Computing.

Aakash Ahmed
Dr. Aakash Ahmed is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the School of Computing and Communications, Lancaster University Leipzig, Germany. He is also acting as a Technical Consultant for TeraBluIoT focusing on engineering and development of Internet of Things and Blockchain-based Systems. He received his Ph.D. in Software Engineering from School of Computing, Dublin City University, Ireland. He has worked as a software engineer, lecturer, postdoctoral researcher, and technology consultant at various organizations and institutes in Pakistan, Ireland, Denmark, and Australia. Dr. Aakash’s research and development expertise is in Software Engineering with its application to mobile and Internet of Things systems for smart systems and infrastructures. Recently, he has received funding grants for research on engineering smart systems and software in the context of IoTs. Dr. Aakash guest edited a Special Issue titled “IoT for Fighting COVID-19” in Pervasive and Mobile Computing, 2021. Dr. Aakash is also serving as an Associate Editor for IEEE Access. He is currently a reviewer for several reputed journals, including IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, IEEE Access, Elsevier Journal of Systems and Software, and Elsevier Future Generation Computer Systems.

Pekka Abrahamsson
Dr. Pekka Abrahamsson is a Full Professor of Software Engineering at Tampere University, Finland. He earned his Ph.D. in Software Engineering in 2002 from the University of Oulu. His research interests include emerging software technologies, empirical software engineering, software startups, and the ethics of artificial intelligence. Prior to his current position, he served as a full professor at the University of Jyväskylä (Finland), the University of Helsinki (Finland), the Free University of Bolzano (Italy), and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (Norway). Additionally, he worked as a research professor of software technologies at the VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland. Dr. Abrahamsson is widely recognized for his academic achievements, particularly in the field of research on agile software engineering methods and processes. He is the most cited researcher in his field in Finland and was the first Professor of Software Engineering at the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters. Dr. Abrahamsson has published extensively in his areas of expertise and has received numerous awards and recognitions, including being named among the 100 most influential Software Engineering scientists in the world by Arnetminer in 2016. In 2007, he was awarded the Nokia Foundation Award, and his large international European research project received the ITEA-Achievement Award in the same year. He is the co-founder of the Software Startup Research Network (SSRN) and a seasoned expert in leading large research projects.
