Hyon K. Choi
Dr. Choi is a Professor of Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Choi also serves as the Director of Clinical Epidemiology and Health Outcomes Program in the Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology at MGH, as well as the Director of the Gout and Crystal Arthropathy Center. Dr. Choi received his rheumatology training at MGH and Harvard Medical School, and his doctorate degree in Epidemiology from Harvard University. He has been a leading clinician-scientist in advanced clinical epidemiology and outcomes research of rheumatic disorders ranging from common inflammatory conditions, such as gout and rheumatoid arthritis, to rare, multi-organ disorders, such as systemic lupus erythematosus and systemic vasculitis. His research has been continually funded by the NIH, with over 350 peer-reviewed publications and numerous reviews and book chapters. Further, he has mentored over 50 students and trainees throughout his career, including physician-scientists, postdoctoral trainees, and PhD students who were funded by NIH T and K-grants, Canadian Institutes of Health Research, the Rheumatology Research Foundation, the Arthritis Foundation, and the American College of Rheumatology.

Yuqing Zhang
Dr. Zhang is a Professor of Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Zhang also serves as the Director of Advanced Methodology and Biostatistics in the Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology at MGH. He received his doctorate degree in Epidemiology from Boston University. He has been a leading researcher in advanced epidemiology and statistical methods for rheumatic disorders including osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, gout and many other conditions. His research has been funded by the NIH, with over 400 peer-reviewed publications and numerous reviews and book chapters. Further, he has mentored over 60 students and trainees throughout his career, including physician-scientists, postdoctoral trainees, and PhD students.
