Anthony Kashou, MD is Instructor in Medicine at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science in Rochester, MN where he is completing a combined NIH-funded research and cardiology fellowship. He is founder and president of The EKG Guy, an online cardiology learning community accredited by the AMA and the ACCME. One of the world’s fastest growing ECG resources, with over 1.5 million members, it is the primary learning destination for thousands of medical programs and professionals.
He is an associate editor for the Journal of Electrocardiology, and principal investigator of the EDUCATE trial (the first multi-institutional, prospective-randomized controlled trial assessing ECG competency in 100+ countries). He hosts Mayo Clinic's Podcast ECG segment Making Waves, has authored multiple books on ECGs (including one for children), and has created 1000+ educational videos. His research interests include ECG education, and development of innovative processes to enhance diagnostic capabilities of automated ECG interpretation.
