The Journal of Corporate Finance aims to publish high quality, original manuscripts or shorter format papers in both theoretical and empirical corporate finance. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to: financial structure, governance, product markets, payout, labor, innovation, risk management, financial contracting, and international finance. Papers at the intersection of corporate finance and macroeconomics, asset pricing, household, behavioral, fintech and blockchain, law, financial intermediation, or microstructure also are encouraged. The new Editorial Board is committed to a timely and constructive reviewing process and seeks to streamline the editorial process by implementing an active desk-rejection policy. We anticipate that a non-trivial fraction of papers will be rejected without a detailed reviewing process. The policy is intended to minimize the burden on reviewers as well as create a more efficient process for authors. Desk-rejected articles will NOT be refunded the submission fee. In the same spirit, we expect most papers to converge to a decision within two rounds. Editors and AEs will recuse themselves from handling submissions from authors at the same institution, current or recent past co-authors, former PhD students (in case the editor was the main advisor), former PhD advisors, close friendships, relatives, and papers that criticize or closely compete with an editor's work. Any direct or indirect financial interest also is considered a conflict of interest. If any editor or AE feel that there is likely to be a perception of a conflict of interest in relation to their handling of a submission, they will inform the Managing Editors. The above conflict of interest policy also will be applied to special issues and journal sponsored conference decisions.

The Journal of Destination Marketing & Management (JDMM) aims to be the leading international journal for the study of tourist destinations by providing a critical understanding of all aspects of their marketing and management, as they are situated in their particular policy, planning, economic, geographical and historical contexts. JDMM seeks to develop a robust theoretical understanding of destination marketing and management by harnessing knowledge drawn from the full breadth of disciplinary approaches to the study of destinations. Full text of these Volumes (encompassing the period 1992 to 2011) is freely available at http://www.heacademy.ac.uk/johlste/home The Journal of Hospitality, Leisure, Sport and Tourism Education (JoHLSTE) is the leading international, peer-reviewed educational journal for this subject grouping. Its aims are to: a) Promote, enhance and disseminate research, good practice and innovation in all aspects of higher education in Hospitality, Leisure, Sport and Tourism and Events to its prime audience including teachers, researchers, employers, and policy makers. b) Encourage greater understanding, links and collaboration across its constituent fields. JoHLSTE is designed to have maximum impact through it being available on-line, fully archived and peer-reviewed. JoHLSTE is divided into seven sections: Editorial; Academic Papers; Practice Papers, Perspectives, Comments and Rejoinders, Research Notes and Reports and Education Resource Reviews. (1) The Editorial addresses items of contemporary interest on an ad-hoc basis. (2) For the Academic Papers section JoHLSTE invites full-length manuscripts (around 8,000 words) from a variety of disciplines. These papers will be subject to double blind peer review. Subjects covered include the broad areas of knowledge, policy, curriculum, learning and teaching, assessment, resources, employability, careers and quality. Both conceptual and empirical approaches are welcome. Manuscripts may take the form of research papers, case studies, literature reviews, critical evaluations, new methodologies and action research. Purely descriptive accounts are not considered suitable. (3) The Practice Papers section encourages shorter contributions (around 3,000 words) from practicing teachers and others involved in the delivery of education and training including; employers, educational managers, staff developers and library and careers guidance staff. In particular, it encourages reflection on, and critical review of good (and bad) practice with a view to sharing experiences and promoting a "learning profession". (4) The Perspectives section offers a platform (around 1,000-2,000 words) for contributors to make an initial mapping of the issues surrounding a recent development in Hospitality, Leisure, Sport and Tourism education. As such it can act as an early stimulant for further research. (5) Comments and Rejoinders offers an opportunity for readers to comment on articles published in previous editions of the journal. (6) Research Notes and Reports, which are shorter report-style pieces and commentaries, will also be considered for publication. (7) Education Resource Reviews offer provide critiques of resources related to student learning or effective teaching. A wide range of resources may be reviewed, including textbooks, websites, CD-ROMs, videos, databases and articles.
