Progress in Nuclear Energy is an international review journal covering all aspects of nuclear science and engineering especially applicable to nuclear energy. In keeping with the maturity of nuclear fission power, articles on various technical aspects of nuclear power plants including safety, siting and environmental issues are encouraged, as are those associated with economics, public policy, and fuel management. However, studies of new physics phenomena and engineering design and analysis tools and innovations will remain an important aspect of the journal's scope. Articles published in Progress in Nuclear Energy are either of a review nature or present new material in more depth. They are aimed at researchers and technically oriented managers working in the nuclear energy field. Please note the following: PNE seeks high quality innovative research papers which are medium to long in length. Short research papers should be submitted to the journal Annals of Nuclear Energy. PNE reserves the right to reject papers which are based solely on routine application of computer codes used to produce reactor designs or reproduce known reactor phenomena. Such papers, although worthy, are best left as laboratory reports. Progress in Nuclear Energy seeks papers which are original, expand knowledge in the field, and are archival in nature, in the fields of mathematical, computational, and experimental nuclear technology, including fission, fusion devices' blanket physics and radiation damage, safety, materials aspects, economics, Nuclear Cogeneration (where the emphasis for this journal must be focused on the nuclear power aspects of cogeneration, not the various applications of the nuclear-generated energy) etc. Review papers, which may occasionally be invited, are particularly sought by the journal in these fields, but may also be proposed by experts in the field by contacting one of the Editors. Taking the format of four issues per year, the journal aims to discuss new developments in the field at a level suitable for the general nuclear and particle physicist and, in greater technical depth, to explore the most important advances in these areas. Most of the articles will be in one of the fields of nuclear physics, hadron physics, heavy ion physics, particle physics, as well as astrophysics and cosmology. A particular effort is made to treat topics of an interface type for which both particle and nuclear physics are important. Related topics such as detector physics, accelerator physics or the application of nuclear physics in the medical and archaeological fields will also be treated from time to time. Radiation Measurements provides a forum for the presentation of the latest developments in the broad field of ionizing radiation detection and measurement. The journal publishes original papers on both fundamental and applied research. The journal seeks to publish papers that present advances in the following areas: spontaneous and stimulated luminescence (including scintillating materials, thermoluminescence, and optically stimulated luminescence); electron spin resonance of natural and synthetic materials; the physics, design and performance of radiation measurements (including computational modelling such as electronic transport simulations); the novel basic aspects of radiation measurement in medical physics. Studies of energy-transfer phenomena, track physics and microdosimetry are also of interest to the journal. Applications relevant to the journal, particularly where they present novel detection techniques, novel analytical approaches or novel materials, include: personal dosimetry (including dosimetric quantities, active/electronic and passive monitoring techniques for photon, neutron and charged-particle exposures); environmental dosimetry (including methodological advances and predictive models related to radon); cosmic and high-energy radiation measurements (including dosimetry, space radiation effects, and single event upsets); dosimetry-based archaeological and Quaternary dating; dosimetry-based approaches to thermochronometry; accident and retrospective dosimetry (including activation detectors), and dosimetry and measurements related to medical applications. Generally excluded are topics related to dosimetry and environmental radioactivity for risk assessment, particularly using standard and well-established techniques, where the emphasis is on the results of the measurements rather than on the measurement techniques. Review articles are periodically solicited by the Editors. The journal aims to publish papers containing substantial novelty and scientific impact. The Editors reserve the rights to reject, with or without external review, papers that do not meet these criteria. The journal provides an international forum for information sharing and exchange in basic research, medical development and technological advances in areas of radiation medicine, radiation biology, nuclear medicine, radiology, radiotherapy, and radiation protection. The Journal is committed to the rapid publication of quality manuscripts that report advances in the peaceful and responsible use of nuclear energy in medicine as well as the public health aspect of radiation. The Journal solicits contributions that address biological effects of both ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, the beneficial application of nuclear technology, especially dose optimization and avoidance of tissue injury in medical diagnosis and treatment, and radiation protection for the public. An International Journal devoted to their Science and Technology Reactive & Functional Polymers provides a forum to disseminate original ideas, concepts and developments in the science and technology of polymers with functional groups, which impart specific chemical reactivity or physical, chemical, structural, biological, and pharmacological functionality. The scope covers organic polymers, acting for instance as reagents, catalysts, templates, ion-exchangers, selective sorbents, chelating or antimicrobial agents, drug carriers, sensors, membranes, and hydrogels. This also includes reactive cross-linkable prepolymers and high-performance thermosetting polymers, natural or degradable polymers, conducting polymers, and porous polymers. Original research articles must contain thorough molecular and material characterization data on synthesis of the above polymers in combination with their applications. Applications include but are not limited to catalysis, water or effluent treatment, separations and recovery, electronics and information storage, energy conversion, encapsulation, or adhesion. Full-length papers, perspectives and review articles will be considered. We welcome cutting-edge, original research within our scope. Modelling and simulation work will be considered only when linked to new or previously published experimental results. Lack of originality and novelty, insufficient molecular characterisation, or poor comparison with the current state of the art are reasons for rejection.

Results in Materials is part of the Materials Today journal family. It is an open-access journal that serves as a platform for the community of materials scientists and engineers to share their findings and visions in materials. This journal aims to promote the visibility of exploratory studies, preliminary/incremental results, and negative results with scientifically sound explanation. Results in Materials has a broad scope spanning all materials science and engineering subfields, welcoming articles in the following areas: Theoretical Materials Science Experimental Materials Science Computational Materials Science Environmental Materials Science Education in Materials Science We welcome all studies that do not necessarily generate breakthrough results but serve as stepping-stones to advance knowledge in materials science. We also encourage submissions of undergraduate research work. Manuscripts of experimental, theoretical and computational nature are all welcome for submission. Results in Materials also considers manuscripts that discuss the integration of research and education for training the next-generation workforce in materials science and related fields.
