BCMD is interested in contributions in basic, translational and clinical research focusing on the biology of blood cells and the pathophysiology of blood disorders, with a specific interest in non-malignant conditions. We will consider studies on hematological malignancies when secondary to inherited or acquired bone marrow failure or disorders of the immune system. Research Areas include: Erythropoiesis, Erythrocyte Biology, Hemoglobin and its disorders Myelopoiesis, myeloid cells and disorders of the myeloid lineage (incl. myeloproliferative disorders) Megakaryopoiesis and platelet disorders Hemostasis & Thrombosis and disorders of coagulation Transfusion medicine and the study of therapeutic blood products (including novel biotechnologies related to transfusion products) Bone marrow failure (severe aplastic anemia, myelodysplasia, etc.) Immunodeficiency and dysregulation of the immune system Auto-immune disorders relating to blood

  • 5 Year impact factor: 4.5
  • Impact factor: 4.1
BONE is an interdisciplinary forum for the rapid publication of original articles and reviews on basic, translational, and clinical aspects of bone and mineral metabolism, including rare bone diseases. The Journal also encourages submissions related to interactions of bone with other organ systems, including cartilage, tendon and other connective tissues, endocrine, muscle, fat, neural, vascular, gastrointestinal, hematopoietic, and immune systems. Particular attention is placed on the application of artificial intelligence and experimental studies to clinical practice. US National Institutes of Health (NIH) voluntary posting ("Public Access") policy. BONE and Elsevier facilitate the author's response to the NIH Public Access Policy. For more details please see the Guide for authors. Original research articles and case reports can also be submitted to BONE's Gold Open Access companion title, Bone Reports.

CIRP Journal of Manufacturing Science and Technology

  • ISSN: 1755-5817
  • 5 Year impact factor: 4.7
  • Impact factor: 4.8
Published by CIRP, The International Academy for Production Engineering The CIRP Journal of Manufacturing Science and Technology (CIRP-JMST) publishes fundamental papers on manufacturing processes, production equipment and automation, product design, manufacturing systems and production organisations up to the level of the production networks, including all the related technical, human and economic factors. Preference is given to contributions describing research results whose feasibility has been demonstrated either in a laboratory or in the industrial praxis. CIRP Members and leading experts are equally encouraged to submit case studies and review papers on specific issues in manufacturing science and technology by consulting with the editor in chief. The Journal has been established by CIRP, The International Academy for Production Engineering to meet the needs above. In addition the CIRP has appointed an Editorial Board of Fellows of the Academy which forms a team of highly recognised international experts in the field. The intention is to establish a forum for publishing the best, most innovative research in the field and to this end the journal will publish both in-depth versions of the best papers from CIRP conferences, whilst at the same time, welcoming original contributions from authors worldwide. The main goal is to contribute to the further development of the Science and Technology of Manufacturing which is of fundamental importance for the future.Benefits to authors We also provide many author benefits, such as free PDFs, a liberal copyright policy, special discounts on Elsevier publications and much more. Cancer Cell

  • ISSN: 1535-6108
  • 5 Year impact factor: 43.9
  • Impact factor: 50.3
Cancer Cell provides a high-profile forum to promote major advances in cancer research and oncology. The primary criterion for considering manuscripts is whether the studies provide major advances into answering important questions relevant to naturally occurring cancers. Cancer Cell particularly welcomes translational research. Cancer Cell is also interested in publishing clinical investigations, in particular those that lead to establishing new paradigms in the treatment, diagnosis, or prevention of cancers; those that provide important insights into cancer biology beyond what has been revealed by preclinical studies; and those that are mechanism-based proof-of-principle clinical studies. Visit the Cell Press website for more information about Cancer Cell - http://www.cell.com/Cancer-Cell/home

  • 5 Year impact factor: 2
  • Impact factor: 1.9
The aim of Cancer Genetics is to publish high quality scientific papers on the cellular, genetic and molecular aspects of cancer, including cancer predisposition and clinical diagnostic applications. Specific areas of interest include descriptions of new chromosomal, molecular or epigenetic alterations in benign and malignant diseases; novel laboratory approaches for identification and characterization of chromosomal rearrangements or genomic alterations in cancer cells; correlation of genetic changes with pathology and clinical presentation; and the molecular genetics of cancer predisposition. To reach a basic science and clinical multidisciplinary audience, we welcome original full-length articles, reviews, meeting summaries, brief reports, and letters to the editor. Benefits to authors We also provide many author benefits, such as free PDFs, a liberal copyright policy, special discounts on Elsevier publications and much more.
