Revista Mexicana de Ortodoncia

The Mexican Journal of Orthodontics (Revista Mexicana de Ortodoncia) was created in 2013 by the Facultad de Odontología of UNAM. The main goal of the journal is to open a space in the field of orthodontics where not only the academic community of the faculty but also national and international colleagues from other institutions, hospitals and associations, could participate. The journal publishes national and international works from original scientific research, reviews and case reports related to clinical, epidemiological and basic aspects of orthodontics, every three months, in English and Spanish. The double blind peer review policy ensures high quality standards. Printed issues are distributed to libraries in more than 180 universities all over the world and the online version can be consulted free. In Mexico, this is the first journal in the field with academic purposes. The journal is currently indexed in: Medigraphic and Literatura Biomédica. La Revista Mexicana de Ortodoncia se creó en 2013 por parte de la Facultad de Odontología de la UNAM. El objetivo de la revista es abrir un espacio en el área de la ortodoncia en donde participan, además de la comunidad académica de la facultad, colegas de otras instituciones, hospitales y asociaciones del país y del extranjero. La revista publica trimestralmente trabajos nacionales e internacionales que son resultado de investigaciones científicas originales, artículos de revisión y reportes de casos relacionados con aspectos clínicos, epidemiológicos y básicos de la ortodoncia, en español y en inglés. El sistema de arbitraje por pares doble ciego garantiza altos estándares de calidad. Los ejemplares impresos se distribuyen a bibliotecas de más de 180 universidades de todo el mundo y la versión en línea puede consultarse de forma gratuita. En México, es la primera publicación del área que es creada con fines académicos. La revista está actualmente indexada en: Medigraphic y Literatura Biomédica

The Mexican Journal of Odontology (Revista Odontológica Mexicana) is the official publication of the Facultad de Odontología of UNAM. Official Journal of the World Sleep Society and International Pediatric Sleep Association Sleep Medicine has an open access companion journal Sleep Medicine: X with a specific scope and topic, but the same Editorial Board and peer-review process. Sleep Medicine aims to be a journal no one involved in clinical sleep medicine can do without. A journal primarily focussing on the human aspects of sleep, integrating the various disciplines that are involved in sleep medicine: neurology, clinical neurophysiology, internal medicine (particularly pulmonology and cardiology), psychology, psychiatry, sleep technology, pediatrics, neurosurgery, otorhinolaryngology, and dentistry. The journal publishes the following types of articles: Reviews (also intended as a way to bridge the gap between basic sleep research and clinical relevance); Original Research Articles; Full-length articles; Brief communications; Controversies; Case reports; Letters to the Editor. Specific features include: Hot topic series: These focus series present four to six invited review articles, written by excellent experts in the field. The series address major topics of sleep medicine, e.g. sleep related breathing disturbances, insomnia, new technologies in sleep medicine etc.). Each paper focuses on most recent developments in pathophysiology, diagnostics and clinics of various facets of the general topic.
